BROWN BAGGING FOR CALGARY’S KIDS
Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids (BB4CK) is a community-funded, nonprofit organization that has been working for 35 years to make sure kids across Calgary have access to the food they need. We know that food insecurity affects nearly 2 in 5 children in Alberta and it is our mission to connect and inspire people to take meaningful action to feed and care for kids.
 We work with Calgarians—school staff, volunteers, donors, and partners—to prepare and deliver nutritious lunches to close to 8,000 kids experiencing food insecurity every school day. Our community ensures these lunches are provided with care, dignity and free from stigma, allowing kids to access the food they need to thrive.
