CALGARY FOOD BANK

The Calgary Food Bank is often the first line of emergency food support for families facing crisis. As a result, 37% of our clients are children under 18. Growing up in a food-insecure household can affect children in many ways, and that’s why providing plenty of healthy, fresh food is essential to the education and overall development of kids in our community.

In addition to serving clients directly, we also partner with over 80 charitable organizations throughout the city. We receive almost no government funding and instead we are by community, for community.
