CARDEL REC SOUTH

4H Calgary Canada

Cardel Rec South, operated by the South Fish Creek Recreation Association (SFCRA), is a vibrant community hub in South Calgary where people of all ages come together to play, connect, and belong. As a Registered Charity, SFCRA is committed to fiscal transparency and community-driven recreation, ensuring that more than a million annual visitors have a place to participate in sport and community programming.

Through our Financial Assistance Program, we help remove financial barriers so that children and youth can access the benefits of recreation, including improved physical and mental well-being, confidence, and a sense of belonging. In partnership with the City of Calgary’s Fair Entry program, we provide subsidized access to programs for families who may not otherwise be able to participate.

With the support of Rogers Birdies for Kids, we are working to expand this impact by reaching more families and increasing access to meaningful recreational experiences. Every donation helps ensure that youth in our community can take part, build skills, form friendships, and grow through sport, regardless of financial circumstances.

Together, we are strengthening our community by making recreation more accessible, inclusive, and impactful for the next generation.

Donate today and help more youth access the programs that build confidence, connection, and lifelong opportunity.
