SAMARITAN CLUB OF CALGARY

The Samaritan Club of Calgary, in existence since 1910, provides short-term assistance to Calgarians in need by working through referrals from social workers, community support workers and healthcare professionals. We are dedicated to providing help for those in crisis or just needing short term assistance, which can mean groceries, medications and infant formula, made available within 24 hours of the request. Our funds are also made available for a variety of needs such as layettes for newborn babies which are distributed four times a year to hospitals and post-partum facilities in the city, aids to daily living, scholarships and sending special needs children to summer camps.
