YWCA Edmonton offers Camp Yowochas, a renowned outdoor education centre and summer camp located on Lake Wabamun. Since the late 1940s, our Campership Subsidy fund has helped ensure that kids from across Alberta are able to access Camp Yowochas regardless of their financial circumstances, allowing all children to participate in summer camp. By investing in Campership subsidies, we create a culture grounded in inclusivity and belonging that allows campers to discover their strengths, take safe risks and develop leadership and teamwork skills that will last for years to come.
