TRICO CENTRE FOR FAMILY WELLNESS

Trico Centre for Family Wellness is a not-for-profit, community-operated fitness and wellness facility located in south Calgary. For over 40 years, we have fostered not only the physical health and fitness needs of our community, but the mental, emotional, and social health of people of all ages and abilities.

Thousands of children participate in our programs every year; whether it’s Parent and Tot classes, summer day camps, the Skill Builder program, or anything else, Trico Centre’s Child and Youth programs prioritize socialization, cognitive development, physical fitness, and overall mental well-being.

This year, your donation will be used to support our Leadership in Training expansion initiative. This youth development program is currently delivered in July and August to equip young people with the skills, confidence, and experience needed to become future leaders in recreation, community programs, and beyond. The expanded LIT Program would operate year-round, offering weekly sessions and/or seasonal workshops throughout the school year. This ensures young leaders continue developing their skills, building connections, and contributing to the community all year long.
